We are an all-woman owned family business.
As taught by our French Chef Dad Daniel who made no compromises and took pride in delivering flavour we believe in real food so we use natural ingredients – no junk goes in our food, no added preservatives or flavours, just fresh ingredients, as many as possible locally sourced.
We cook with Garlic and Butter and Cream and Wine and Herbs and Stocks and a little Magic on occasion, in small batches to keep flavours and product integrity.
We work hard to be proud of what we are doing and we take building long-term relationships with our staff, suppliers and customers seriously – that is why we have customers and suppliers alike who have been part of the Chapat Family for over 20 years.
Our brand has just had a little face-lift and boob job, it pays to keep things fresh! And we have moved to a bigger and better facility in Honeydew so we can grow. All our products really are handmade and hand weighed so growth means new jobs and a brighter future for our team.
